In late October the boys decided they needed some serious surf so a trip to Morocco was planned. It was double the price to go in school holidays, so without Lol to keep me company, the trip to Morocco became a boys trip with the girls to go on their own trip the following week (more on that later).
The boys flew into Marrakech and hired a car to drive 4 hours to the coast near Agadir where they had rented a house right on the coast.

The trip was all about the surf, the boys were there at the right time of year and were able to get some seriously big swell. There are no beaches in Morocco only rocks and big waves, therefore there were a few wounds to both the boys and their surfboards. Nay snapped his surfboard, Ken damaged the nose and his fins and they all took a beating on the rocks at some point or another.

After a week on the coast the boys returned to Marrakech for one night before flying out the next day. They took the time to wander around the main square and take in the sights.

The boys are very keen to get back to Morocco again soon and Lol and I are also keen to experience a bit of Africa, so watch this space.
